A woman from Tanzania was arrested on a charge of drug possession in
Macao, Dec 19, 2013. Police officers became suspicious of a female
passenger who had flown from Thailand to Macao on Tuesday (Dec. 17).The
suspect, a Tanzanian national, 28, was allegedly trying to smuggle
drugs into Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. After undergoing an X-ray
scan, the suspect excreted 66 pellets of heroin, weighing 1.1 kilograms
valued 1.1 million Macao pataca ($137,755).
